Wabash College: Alumni & Parents - News
Nine months ago the biggest fear Jonathan ’97 and David ’98 Byrd had was that their father, Jonathan Byrd, might suffer complications after heart surgery. Two days after he returned home from successful surgery, the elder Byrd suffered a massive and debilitating stroke. The incident inspired the two brothers to combine their resources and talents to put together an Indy 500 racing team to honor their father, who is paralyzed on his right side and can no longer effectively communicate. Jonathan Byrd's Cafeteria: The Splendid Table
Jonathan Byrd's Cafeteria December 21, 2002 Jonathan Byrd's Cafeteria in Greenwood, Indiana, claims to be "America's largest cafeteria." With at least 20 entrees everyday and an 88-foot-long serving line, they're probably right. It's all about comfort food here—pot pies, macaroni and cheese, roast turkey, and salads. And like any cafeteria worth it's salt, desserts are laid out at the head of the line.

Our Company History and Our Showroom
ABOUT US Our Company History & Our Showroom Inside our Bookvault In 1987, the International Director of the World Bible Society, Dr. Craig Lampe, decided to create a very special company. He approached his long-time friend, Dr. Jonathan Byrd, and presented him the idea: to corner-the-market on rare and antique Bibles, and set up an organization that would restore and preserve the ancient printings of God’s Word for future generations, and make these wonderful treasures available for sale. This new company would be the world’s primary source for antiquarian Bibles. Dr.
